Huge Congratulations to our 9 gymnasts that competed at the English Championships last weekend. You’ve done yourselves, your coaches and your club proud. Lots of experience gained and targets hit. An extra big thank you to Andrea Cook who judged all 3 days and to everyone who came to support!

WOW WHAT A WEEKEND!! Congratulations Cherish, Corey, Charlie, Jed and Fintan. What an achievement to make it to the British, especially after the last 2 years of covid restrictions and training on Zoom, these 5 have really made the club proud! A massive thank you also to all the coaches who helped get the gymnasts ready for this competition. To Andrea Cook for Judging the entire weekend. Huge congratulations to these gymnasts who competed in the English Championships over the weekend. In the Senior category, Karena finished 41st overall. In the junior category, Cherish finished 24th overall and Amelia 36th, also placing 6th on vault. In the MAG under 14s, Jed finished 24th, Charlie 28th, Corey 30th and Fintan 45th. CSG are extremely proud of you all!! Also, a big thank you to all who came to support, it was very much appreciated.
Classic Challenge National Final Classic Challenge – Gold Karena Child 5th overall, 1st on floor & vault Jamie Leech 7th overall Karena & Jamie also helped the East Team to finish 3rd in the Bill McLoughlin Competition. Classic Challenge – Silver Amelia Harrington & Katie Yallop were selected for the East Team and helped them to finish in 4th place. Massive well done to all gymnasts and coaches!
