Mens Artistic Squads

Our Men’s Artistic squad is an invitation only squad for male gymnasts aged 5 and over. Gymnasts within the squad will train on the 6 pieces of apparatus for Men’s gymnastics (floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and high bar). The gymnasts in the squad will train to compete in county, regional and national competitions. Squad members are expected to train multiple times per week and will have the opportunity to trial for further squads within the region. There is a stretching and physical preparation programme that individuals will follow within the gym to ensure they are able to perform the necessary skills.

There are numerous groups within the squad that are aimed at different level of competition. Individuals will be selected for groups by the men’s coaching staff depending on their individual talents and expectations.
